Although each mask has a minimum of four layers of cotton for filtration it is not considered medical grade. There is no guarantee it will protect you from any virus but it was designed for the following –
- To keep you from touching your face,
- To prevent any large aerosol droplets from other people been exposed to your mouth and nose when you are wearing it,
- As a guide for other people to maintain their social distance,
- To keep disposable masks readily available to those working on the frontline and
- To reduce your use of one use plastics and stop the amount of masks in landfill
